I shot my friends at the Nike Chosen Event Heavenly California
Countless times this year I had been trying to hook up with my friends Nick Geisen, Chris Geisen, (however both of them are collectively known as one entity , “The Twins”.) and Ryan Linnert to film and shoot photos. The year prior I had worked with all of them and we produced some pretty good snowboard video/photo material. The problem this year was that Tahoe has had their worst snow year in a very long time. There was no natural snow on the ground at this point so there was... Read The Rest →

HDR Photography in Photoshop Lanscape and Interiors
To HDR or not to HDR? That is the question… I like to use HDR photography when I shoot interiors as well as landscapes. A High Dynamic Range (HDR) image consists of 3 – 9 exposures. All of which are usually around a stop off of each other. Combining all the information in the photo so there is no shadow or highlight problems. You are looking to end up with a very even photograph. Here is my tutorial of how I make this happen. Enjoy!

Big Game Nevada Elk Hunting
Howdy Y’all! Just got back from a 6 day trip to western Nevada. We were shooting an episode for The Syndicate. An all big game hunting show that will premier next season on the Sportsman Channel. What a crazy damn trip. Bud Light, crapping in a hole, amazing sun rises and sun sets, sleeping in tents, big trucks, guns, no running water, fires, laughter, 50+ miles of hiking, greasy breakfasts, cowboys, and good ol’ American fun are a few things that come to mind. The first day I got extremely... Read The Rest →

The video will be comprised of High Definition video footage and radical time lapse photography with different camera rigs to show Tahoe as never seen before. We want to make a video of epic proportions! Today was our first day out and boy was it a great day! We were lucky enough that a storm system was rolling through the area and... Read The Rest →
